Smulevic, Serge
Born in Warsaw in 1921, emigrated to France in 1923, training at the art college in Strasbourg, member of French Resistance, arrest, deportation to Auschwitz in 1943, confinement in the Buna/Monowitz concentration camp, death march and liberation in the Dachau concentration camp in 1945, return to France, work as illustrator, drew pictures of the camp for the Nuremberg trial of I.G. Farben in 1947, now lives in France.
